Process with Camiel Corneille

The past month we’ve been working with circus artist Camiel Corneille for his research of the past two years: The Repro Project.

We cannot exist without machines, and machines cannot exist without us. We are mutually dependent – locked in a relationship that is slowly developing into a fusion of man and machine.

As part of his research, Camiel took on the role of director/choreographer and worked with us to create the duet Manchines #2. In the studio, we’ve been exploring the borders of intimacy. What remains of human contact if you take away all technology?
